Tornado Sweep To Rolling Back Take
Good combination that requires a lot of practice!
Slick Guillotine From Babu
This is a slick Guillotine, I use this and I was just teaching it last week! There are a few other options from this position that work great as well, like a rolling Guillotine and a Crucifix. A couple points to keep in mind 1. keep your choking hands thumb up after you pass it under the neck and grab the bottom of your wrist with your other hand before pulling up keeping the sharpest past of his wrist on your opponents neck 2. use the inside knee to drive your opponents arm under his body, preventing him from getting his elbow up to counter and relieve the pressure. 3. Crunch your side and hip out as you squeeze, making your core do most of the work and keep your leg over his back so he doesn't escape. Have fun with this as it is a quick and explosive finish.

Yuki Naki: Escape From Submissions
14 minuets long- not translated, but solid gold.
Follis: Arm Slice From Guard
One more nifty trick from Team Quest's Robert Follis
Follis- Side Control Escape
This is cool because..I USE THIS! Just in a slightly different way. I use it was a counter when my opponent try's to pin my arm in a crucifix...I also follow it with an inverted triangle but that is for another day. This has proved to be a very valuable technique for me, getting me out of more than a few jambs...it is well worth putting this in your game.

Sambo For Professionals "Athletiks 2" Insight
Recently I was asked for my insight of Igor Kurinnoys "Athletiks 2" program for physical preparation of fighters by none other than the Sambo For Professionals North American Administrator Gregg Humphreys. I have used this program at my gym for the past few years and I was more than happy to oblige. I've included my assessment below. For the record the entire Sambo For Professionals program in FANTASTIC! and I highly recommend getting it if you haven't already!!!
"Athletiks 2 is a well thought out and user friendly program. The amount of fight specific drills and exercises contained is amazing and the video examples have been a great resource for me and the other instructors at ISG. We have used SFP and Athletiks 2 on the lcd projector for our team, classroom style in the gym to add value to our program.
The athlete tracking/workout design portion of the program is very thorough and WORKS..we have an awesome example of someone who turned into an absolute monster using it...that said it takes quite a bit of time to administer for each athlete...however just the sheer amount of exercises to pull from is more than enough to build workouts without the use of the spreadsheet/data management portion and is broad enough to keep things fresh for even the most advanced students.
There is so much info on that disc that is pure gold and it is designed in a very pragmatic way. The one thing that would be better is if each attribute and technique example section (speed, strength etc.) would include more information on the duration of each workout (sets, reps, time) with adjustments for beginner athletes. It took some trial and error to figure out making the program work for an entire classes, as it is designed as a "one athlete with trainer" program. However that is not really a shortcoming; we were using it it in a macro way while it's designed mostly as a micro level program. Again, the amount of exercises that are grappling specific is almost overwhelming, it really is outstanding."
Athletiks 2 Highlights: Almost 300 grappling specific exercises demonstrated. Techniques for developing: speed, coordination, endurance, strength, and flexibility. A series of tests designed to evaluate an athletes level of fitness compared against a baseline of high level Russian grapplers (Judo Players/Wrestlers/Sambo Players) A comprehensive database of your athletes test results and progress. A personalized periodized workout generator designed to keep your athletes performance always improving. A Section on designing circuits ad there administration during class. A technical section.

Slickest Arm Drag Ever?
This is a few notches above my grappling pay grade....by I'm sure I'll be playing with this A LOT! I Think this qualifies as the slickest way to hit an Arm-Drag I have ever seen, brought to you by the incredible Robson Moura!
The S-Mount Darce
This is becoming a very common way to set up the Drace because of its surprise and effectiveness. The details in this video are good- especially the arm grab after stepping over- this will GREATLY improve your chances of hitting this! Although I prefer to finish by tripoding up and rolling over to finish- as shown this is a very durable and "high mileage" technique/

Drysdale: Butterfly to Ude Gatame
My favorite arm bar: Ude Gatame! From Butterfly! I love That arm bar sooo much- there are TONS of uses for it: to get a tap, sweep your opponent, to set up the Americana, counter the stack, as a slow speed arm drag-you name it! So any time you see a new entry for this.... LEARN IT!
